Commuters Need Some Flying Frickin Fun Too!

If you’re one of the many daily crammed commuters on Vancouver’s Canada Line then you may appreciate this:

10 SECONDS

10 seconds is a series of 10 second works being featured each month and airing every two minutes on the Canada Line video screens. The project is curated by Paul Wong and presented by On Main in partnership with In TransitBC.  10 Seconds began in April of 2010 and will run until March of 2012 generally reaching an audience of over 100,000 commuters daily. The current work featured on the Canada Line is Escape Velocity by Chelsea O'Brian.

Chelsea O’Brian attended the National Circus School of Montreal and has toured with Cirque Plume in France with the show L’Atelier du peintre and was most recently here in Vancouver with Cavalia. However, interestingly enough, Chelsea has invented the Aerial kite and its technique... and it is pretty damn cool!
