I have always been amazed by art and by structural design and have been surrounded by both since childhood. I grew up with an architect Grandfather, a literature and art collector Grandmother, a sculptor Father and a publicist Mother. It is fair to say I have been surrounded by the Arts in every capacity and have developed a passion at a young age.
I am an experienced account executive of corporate development and communications, working with clients in the Mining, Oil and Gas, and Biotechnology sectors. I strategized successful marketing plans to increase shareholder retention and investor interest within Canadian, Asian, and European markets.This included market research, analysis and budgeting, as well as contacting the media to increase coverage, and planning meetings with investment bankers and brokerage houses throughout North America.
I organized events and made presentations at trade shows, conferences, and meetings with retail and institutional investors. In addition, I re-designed and managed website content, drafted and syndicated press releases.
I'm experienced with sales and marketing within a multitude of industries, yet, no other industry interests me as much as the Arts. Therefore, here I am venturing and diving head first into what I love.
I am a very social person, involved in several charitable organizations and attending many networking events in Vancouver. One in particular where I assist with fundraising and events to create mentorship programs which provide scholarships and work placement opportunities to youth at risk.
